An Attitude Of Gratitude

an attitude of gratitudeWhen the pressures of life are upon you it can get quite serious and you will usually look at the all problems and see what is not right.

This can lead to depression and a sense of helplessness yet it doesn’t have to be that way.

If you truly want to move forward, be more prosperous and abundant, then you literally need to invoke an attitude of gratitude.

It is your simple way of staying open through difficult times.  If your heart and mind stays opens, solutions come, opportunities will appear.

If the mind shuts down and stays closed then nothing can move.

When all you can see is despair, is that really true?

I would assume that as of right now, you are sitting on a comfy chair, in a room or at least in an environment with a roof over your head, maybe even outdoors, there is food in your fridge or at least available in a reasonably plentiful supply nearby. You have some means of transport or easy access to transport. You have work that pays a wage larger than $1 a day unlike most underdeveloped countries. You have a family, children or relatives which love you dearly, and perhaps a partner or close confidant by your side.

Consider this, some do not even have access to clean water to drink, are suffering from malnutrition, have no family, have been orphaned or abandoned due to war or crisis in their country, no home, live on the streets, no transport, literally no chance of living in reasonable health, are so affected by health conditions that they will never walk again, working in slavery that no one should bear.

So I ask you, is your life really that bad?

Could you right now open your eyes to a new attitude of gratitude and actually right now really appreciate all that you have and see?

Can you recognise that what you have is actually amazing in comparison to others who are truly living in suffering?

For those of us who live in the west, we can afford an attitude of gratitude.  It is our way of blessing ourselves and truly blessing others who are not so fortunate.

Appreciate even the smallest things in your life when times are tough, and you are letting the light shine, no matter how small a light into your life.

This will bring more light if you allow it over and over again. An attitude of gratitude will enlighten your whole life.

Be the light, be the love, even in times of darkness for that surely guides you home.

Instead share with yourself and others your love, compassion and blessings.

Recognize that you really possibly can share a deep appreciation for life knowing how much abundance you truly have in your life right now.  It is all a matter of perspective.  Change your perspective and it will transform your suffering into that of compassion which not only serves you but everything in existence.

Experience your true nobility as a Soul who has come to share the gift of its truest essence.
